Le Krewe D'Etat -- View posters

Le Krewe D'Etat was founded in 1996 to help resurrect the traditional style Mardi Gras parade. The satirical parade lampoons the political and social events of the year. The parade is reigned by a "Dictator" rather than a traditional monarch.

Secrecy is very important to the krewe. The theme is not divulged until the parade hits the streets, and the identity of the Dictator is never made public. Their posters and proclamations are primarily offered to the membership of the krewe and are often difficult to locate.
